Driftwave

Driftwave offers a fresh take on the arcade racing genre by using sky-high tracks. You do not travel on standard city streets in this game. Instead, you steer a tiny car over narrow paths that float in the air. The main objective is to arrive at the final gate without sliding off the edges. Every move requires careful thought because one small mistake sends you into the clouds.

How to Play Driftwave

Launch the Vehicle

Each level begins with a manual flick to get the car moving. You have to click and drag the mouse to provide an initial burst of speed. The length of your drag controls how fast the car launches forward. You must find the perfect balance of power to clear the first gap. Applying too much force will cause you to overshoot the track entirely. 

Steer through Floating Roads

Once your car is in motion, you guide it by moving your cursor. The vehicle responds to your mouse position like it is being pulled by a string. You need to manage your velocity while taking sharp corners on the floating platforms. There are no guardrails to protect you from falling into the space. 

Unlock New Supercars

The game features twenty-one stages that become more complex as you advance. You receive special rewards for every successful delivery of the car. These earnings allow you to enter the Garage to purchase superior vehicles. New supercars often have better grip and heavier frames for improved control.

Driftwave is a physics-based drifting game. It includes twenty-one unique stages with very intricate path designs. You can find and collect many different supercars within the virtual shop. Winning a race unlocks the next challenge in this aerial driving adventure. You need to navigate the floating courses and reach the finish line safely.
